Oak is a temperate hardwood, is strong and has moderately straight characteristics.  In relation to its weight, movement due to changes in moisture is rather small.

As a flooring material, oak is hard, resistant and stable.  The density is 730 kg/m3 and the Brinell-hardness value is 3.8HB.

Dimensions:

Length: Standard board length is 2180mm, but on occasions lengths of 2080mm, 2000mm and 1818mm are also available.

Width: All boards have a standard face width 185mm - TMT (Thermally Modified Timber 175mm)

Thickness: The overall board thickness is 15mm.  Top wear-layer - 4mm.

Moisture content: 7 - 8%.

Packaging: 6 boards per box. 

Pack size: 2.42m2 per pack based on a board length of 2180mm.
